(4)  A Packaging Company,  offering in-house aseptic filling  juice composite carton systems, wanted to understand the threat posed by PET.

Carried out an in-depth cost / investment investigation of in-house manufacturing costs of composite cartons versus blowing in-line PET bottles each with integrated filling.  
Carried out an in-depth packaging product differentiation survey reference composite cartons versus PET bottles listing the pros and cons of each different pack type with regard to shape, convenience (easy-open, reclose-ability, portability, etc.), weight, shelf life, etc. 
Prepared an in-depth PET bottle / filling  manufacturing / capital investment cost analysis, technology assessment (polymer, process, equipment, etc.)  enabling the client company to make an informed strategic decision. 
Prepared for the client company a choice of strategies for getting into the aseptic process of filling of PET bottles 
Based on the investigation worked carried out, the client purchased one of the largest manufacturers of equipment for blowing PET bottles from pre-forms together with a PET bottle filling machine manufacturer. 

(5) A USA Packaging Company division developed a novel new low cost thermoformed thin wall container but lacked manufacturing facilities or market knowledge as to potential markets.

Helped the client prepare a business strategy.
Carried out in depth market research.  Identified markets and qualified opportunities.  
Advised on product design.  
Carried out a product competitive analysis versus competing technology and products.  Advised on product positioning and pricing.
Prepared  a market entry strategy and listed potential end users.
The holding company was sold off to a new owner and  packaging division was sold to separate new owners.  The thin wall container is now being commercialized.
